At Presentation Secondary School students engage in a wide range of extra-curricular pursuits that simultaneously enhances their educational experience, social skillset and interest base.
We place great emphasis on the involvement of students in projects, activities and organisations that help the wider community, while also developing the students’ own awareness of the world around them.

Music Generation
Instrumental Lessons
Music Generation is Ireland’s national music education programme, providing children and young people with opportunities to access high-quality music tuition and performance experiences. Through its partnership with our school, students can learn from experienced music tutors in an encouraging and enjoyable environment. These lessons are highly subsidised, making instrumental tuition more affordable and accessible for families.
We are delighted to offer students the opportunity to take part in instrumental lessons through our Music Generation programme. Lessons are available in piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and drums.
Lessons take place in small groups and are 30 minutes in length. Students will leave class to attend their lesson; however, lesson times are rotated each week to ensure that they do not regularly miss the same subject.
Music Generation lessons are a wonderful opportunity for students to learn a new instrument, develop their musical skills and confidence, and enjoy making music with others.
